Just be aware that riding with earphones/earbuds is not legal in some places. Probably not a big deal if you are wearing a 3/4 or FF lid. But, if you are rocking a 1/2 lid, I'd check the laws of wherever you will be riding.

I agree with the previous poster regarding the Iphone headphones > garbage. Constantly falling out and still allows for wind, silicon ends on a decent set of earbuds allow for the music to be lower in volume and heard better. A 3/4 helmet and decent earbuds = an excellent ride!

I use my bluetooth head set since i dont want the wires everywhere, only down side is that the music is only pumping from one side. I guess if you have a good set of in ear head phones and run the wire through your jacket it wouldnt be such an issue. nothing better than listening to tunes while riding!

I did it when I had to ride in to do community service in the early mornings. If you have them turned up so loud that you can't hear what's going on be sure to check your mirrors and look around a lot.

I prefer the earbuds that have volume control in the wires. Then you can adjust it somewhat while riding.

I have my Zune with me everytime I ride! Also, Harley sells a tank holder that works great and allows you to easily adjust your music (for touch screen players) when you stop at a light, or are moving slow, etc. It is not cheap, but nothing from HD is!

Best headphones I have used are the Skull Candies, the Inked version. Really great sound for my 45 mile (all highway) treck to work. Now that ive traded from a 1/2 to a 3/4 helmet, its even better. As stated before, youll want to check around you more often. As far as wires go... I used a small clip around the wire to attach to my vest, fish it through and out the side laces area to connect to my phone thats in my front vest pocket. I love having music when I ride a decent distance.
