Ouch my A$$, Best Looking/Most Comfortable Seat for Nightster?
#22
You are riding a bike with probably the worst suspension. When I had mine I put on 12.5" progressive 412's and a mustang vintage wide solo (14.5"). World of difference. I tried the mustang daytripper solo on my new custom, lousy for me, worse than stock, sent it too Mean City cycles, they greatly improved it but not enough, couldn't make it wider or really thicker just reshape and put in memory foam. I am 6', 220lbs. Sold it and bought another wide vintage.

Frank B post above - Mustang Day Tripper - may be the answer the Jonny R is looking for:
Retain same style and add comfort.
Nightster suspension - a joke perhaps - just treat the ride the same as a rigid frame and enjoy.
Seat, longer shocks, better fork springs, tires, handlebar seat to footpeg triangle set up.
All change the OEM style.

With the pegs in front of the seat, there's no way to distribute your body's weight- you're simply taking every road impact straight up your pooper. No wonder your *** hurts.
