Besides MONEY...time is not on my side .. I would love to take 2 days to do the 800 miles but not in the cards this time.

It was a long ride I had made the entire trip from Ft Hood to My dads house north of Seattle in 2 1/2 days. The trip went from Ft Hood-Lubbock-Albuquerque- Durango, CO- Moab- Salt Lake City- Twin Falls- Boise- Umatilla, Or- Grandview, Wa- Yakima- Ellensburg, Wa- Seattle- Lynden, Wa.
Of course this was a while back and these are the cities that I remember going through after looking at a map. There were several 100+ mph stretches through open areas. I remember finding a place in Idaho that had 70's era gas pumps still. It was a long trip to do in just a couple days but, it was amazing to see the huge changes in scenery through out the trip. Best part of the trip was a stretch of I5 just south of Bellingham, Wa about 25 miles from home that has some nice wide two lane twisties that you can push 100+ through. Great trip I definitely recommend riding down there just give yourself a reasonable amount of time to make the trip.
