Yep liquid wrench chemicals as above.
You can tap the bolts (shock them) with a hammer or wrench before you put the wrench/ socket on them for removal too.
Counter clockwise to loosen and maybe more leverage....bigger wrench, breaker bar.
Last resort apply heat (butane torch for example).
Even if assembled with red locktite they will come out.

Hahaha! I know it's not any advice, but I had the same issue when I tried to put mine on. I ended up not putting it on and just riding it as is!

I had the same problem, first had to go buy the torx socket, tried WD40, heat etc, no go. Finally after 3 days I had to concede defeat and take it into the local HD. Even they had a hard time with an impact wrench and wound up making mush of the bolts - which was okay because the guards came with new hex bolts not those flipping torx bolts. The dealer tightened them enough I could drive home then I installed the guard and torqued them down. May be worth a quick trip into the stealership- they told me a lot of folks can't get these bolts out.
