i know this is a little off topic and im sorry. I get alot of relpys here so this is where i post. I am thinking of purchaseing a little pancake air compressor. We have large ones at work but we cant get the moisture out enough to suite me so im just gonna go get a small one. Has anybody used these to blow there bikes off and how do you like them. I thought about a hog blaster but i dont think they will have enough [pressure to dry my bike the way i want. What do yall think of these compressor and what kind did you get. I can get one on ebay for about 40 bucks just like they sale at wmart. Just shoot me your opinions. Thanks alot
Small compressors don't move much air or have enough high psi reserve with the small tank. A $40 leaf blower will do a better job drying your bike, if that's what you're talking about doing with it.
Another +1 on the the drying with a towel/shamee, (SP?), going for a ride to get all the water out and re-wiping all the little spots of water that may work their way out of the crevices.
You'd be suprised at the Hog Blaster, works real good. I thought there was another one that heated the air after filtering it before it blew across your scoot, just can't remember the name. (friggin' old timers)
I have a 3.5 gal pancake and it goes up to 100psi, but it doesn't have enough tank space to give that continuous air flow needed. I'm gonna go get a leaf blower now lol.
