I guess if people want it they have it...for a price. I imagine they are only hooking a cable from your bike to a laptop to do the download. So there are no parts involved just some labor and a computer program, so it makes no sense to me either. I guess that's a good way to lure people into buying a SERT. I can hear it now... "the tuner is only ____ more"

Yeah, I got that pitch. Got the download with the Bassani pipes, but will probably go with the X14iED after I do the AC instead of the fuel pack.

Just FYI- I noticed that after installing the X14iED I got the P0131 DTC. PMed Osco about it and he pointed me to this very helpful article:

http://www.nightrider.com/parts/131_151_explained.htm

Thought I would share in case anyone had the same question...but in a nutshell, not an issue and can ignore and per my review, bike runs great so it's not coming off.

People,,remember All the XieD and the X14ieD does Is richen the AFR where we ride most often and thats In closed loop mode.

It will not help you If you go changing cams or start doing any internal engine work.

They will not help you If you go with straight pipes and destroy your exhaust
systems back pressure and ability to "Scavenge"

If you change to a 2 into 1 system and have flat spots along the power curve,
That takes fuel table mods and you need to go on Into a Power commander
or some such tuner..
