Default Rear turn/run/break controller

You think I might be a saleman for Kuryakyn, but this rear light controller sure give me some comfort from the rear. I was rear ended this summer, so you might say I'm a little paranoid. Anything to keep us safe works for me. And you have a choice at breaking to have them flash 3 times or just go solid.

What year is your bike and was it a plug and play install?

Believe it or not, a module from Harley does the same thing - for less money! It's plug and play and VERY easy to install. Put it on my bike this summer when a riding friend told me my rear visibility was really poor. I'll try and find the part # and post it. I ordered it from Surdyke's...

Thumper, that's what I was initially told, BUT my Sporty is a 2000 - XL1200C. What killed me was they did not make the controller for the 1998 thru 2003 years, go figure. I went to 3 HD stealers, same story. I knew somebody made one, a buddy bought the LED tail lights with the controller. My unharley stealer hooked me up with this one. Plug and play

brauny1,

Sorry, I thought you had a 2004-2006 - assumption got me again! Glad you got the Kuryakyn unit though, as you are better off with that increased rear illuminated real estate.

Keep the shiny side up!

I just installed the HD one part #69462-06A on my 2001 Superglide even though it wasn't listed. The difference was the red turn signal lenses. Mine has dome style and the kit comes with the ones for bullet style. Just pick up the ones for the correct year you need. I got mine from Custom Chrome.

Works great and was 20% off at the local dealer when on sale.
