Default Progressive HD 412s and Progressive Fork Springs

Hey all, I've been doing quite a bit of research on besting the stock suspension on my 2005 Sporty 1200C, and today I decided to spring for the 12.5" heavy duty 412s (stock are 11.5" I believe), and for the Progressive front fork springs as well.

My riding style is 70 / 30 (solo/2-up), and I take it easy, not having the urge to take turns at 90mph. So a comfortable ride with decent handling is my priority, i.e. the best of both worlds.

Progressive's "stock" guild lines for the spacer length are 5.5", which would be for the stock rear shock height. Any ideas on what the spacer length should be to balance out nicely with the new 12.5" shocks?

Also, I am thinking of sticking to 10W fork oil. Don't think a heavier oil will meet my objectives.

Thanks for your thoughts!
