RE: new seat
How do you all decide? I hate to part with 270 - 400 of my best friends, only to be disappointed. My Stock Seat is fine for me. However, my wife and 13YO Son tell me, it ain't fun after a lenghty ride. So, I want to go with a solo and a passenger pillon (i think that's how it's spelled). Any ideas what to look for? Is it the width of the pillon that makes the seat more comfortable? or, is it hte thickness o nthe cushion? or, the softness of the leather? or, maybe it's the shape and stitchin', you with or without buttons. Please help, I do want my passengers to be confortable, at least as much as possible on a sporty.

I understand that particular seat is very comfortable if you're ridin' two up, but it would hurt my feelings to be separated from 400 of my best friends.

I just replaced the stock seat on my 06 1200c. What a difference! I bought a sundowner touring seat. Best 400 dollars I've spent yet.
