Hello all. I'm kevin and new to the forum. Hope im posting in the correct spot..... I have an 03 sporty 883. Recently installed 69462-06b and cut my rear fender down/bobbed. I removed the fender light assm. Within 3 days the rh taillight/turn would not come on the first turn on of the ignition. I would flip key on and off couple of times then it would come on and work fine. 5 days i had verry dim run, no turn eiher way, and they lights would go completely out. After testing bikes wiring i decided it was a bad part - (69462-06b). So i replaced..... All is well for 30 mins now the right is verry dim, and the light doesnt light up with brake either. Lh is operating ok. Any suggestions?????? Im stumpped..........

 

Is this part # for a set of LED lights or something? If so, you may need to get a load equalizer to balance out the power needed for them.

 

Is it the correct part for your bike? I only ask becasue I bought teh same kind of kit for my XR, dealer gave me one for the regular sportster, and it was acting all goofy. Didi more research to find it was the wrong part.
