Default More Noise w/ Amsoil?

Anyone notice more gear/chain noise w/ Amsoil 20-50 in their tranny? Runs fine, shifts better, just louder. Thanks.

Default 20w 50 too thin in my opionion...

From amsoils site....
20w-50oil may be used in all three - Engine, Transmission, and Primary Case as specified by the H-D Motor Company, however Harley Performance recommends using a heavier 75w-90 gear lube in the transmission. Both methods exceed the manufacture's and API specification and will not void any warranty.

Yes, Gear Oil is preferable over Motor Oil in the primary/tranny.
However, Gear Oil is measured on a different "viscosity" scale than the one used for Motor (Engine) Oil.
A 75-90 Gear Oil has roughly the same viscosity as a 20-50 Motor Oil.
