I ate up the rear tire on my bike, so now I'm looking at new ones, seeing how I'm gonna replace the rear I may as well replace the front as well... with that said, I know the dunlops come stock, but I'm also looking at Pirelli Night Dragons and I've used Metzlers in the past (not on a harley) but I'm looking at their lasertec's. anyone have any suggestions as to which way, any arguments for one brand over another? Or even the Dunlop GT501 tires... all are similar prices and seem similar qualities.

I'm thinking they are all about the same, I do like the metzler's write up about wet weather though.

I put the metzler 880s on mine and will never go back to the stock dunlops

 

I just put Metzler LaserTec's front and rear on the FXDC along with Dyna beads. Only 150 miles of twisties on them so far and they stick to the road like glue. I'm impressed so far. Don't know about the miles they will last but sure do like the road hugging.

Leaving for STURGIS tomorrow early am.....they'll get a good road test SOON!!!!!
Anyone else running Metzler Lasertec rubber???

Metzler 880s are fantastic tires. They stick better than the stock Dunflops and last longer, too.
