Daytime Lights
Just curious - as a general rule, do you use your brights during the day or just the regular lights which come on automatically?
I've been using only the regular lights (and brights at night when no traffic), but a friend has told me he always uses his brights during the day.

RE: Daytime Lights
My son and I were out for a ride one day and he told me my light was hardly visible when he would look back at me, and that I should run with my high beam on in the daytime. I started running only the high beam from that moment on until I tried to figure out why the low beam was so lacking. What I discovered was that my headlight was pointed too far down. I adjusted the headlight upwards a bit and that totally solved the low visibility issue of the low beam. So, now I ride with the low beam on during the day and use the high beam at night - all the time - for better visibility and better illumination. No one has ever flashed me indicating the high beam at night was too bright and the adjustment made a big difference in illuminating the road in front of me.
I heartily suggest that those with low visibility low beams angle their headlight up a bit - it really makes a world of difference for seeing and being seen...
