Default Lick's or La Rosa Side Bag

I want to get a side bag but need to hear from forum members on which one is a better choice......Lick's or La Rosa? I don't want to spend too much $ and the Lick's is pretty high but I don't want to buy a bag that is a piece of crap either. Also, are these side bags spacious enough to use for a 2-3 day trip? I don't pack heavy. Looking to get a couple shirts, extra pair of shoes, rain jacket and toiletry items. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks!

There was a thread a couple months back that did a side by side comparison of the Licks versus LaRosa. General consensus was the Licks was a better made bag but the LaRosa was a good value. Maybe try a search to see if you can find it.

Might want to get one for each side or throwover saddle bags if that's what you're wanting to do. They'll hold a few small items but not all that you listed. Best comparison is they're about the size of a shoe box.

A La Rosa solo bag looks like the photos on a Street Bob and a Sportster ( fit on the Sportster was a little strange) not sure how good they are yet, but you can pick them up on ebay easy. Not big enough for a 2-3 day trip.

Thanks,
Rod

If you want a Licks bag you can use this code and it brings the price down to around $160. Its xlf2011.

If you decide to go with a left and right bag, You can look at another option:
(Less bulky looking compared to Licks and larosa)

They really are sweet, I have a Licks bag but might have to get those for longer trips!

the licks solo bag is small. Great product for putting a few small things in it. 3-4 12 oz. beer max! My sunglass case, small bottle of cleaner and rag, a hat, smokes, and a digital camera and its full. I still wear a backpack.
