i have my front master cylinder leaking out completly in a few days and thats not useing it.can i buy any 9/16 rebuild kit or does it have to be from the company i bought it from?

 

I take it that it is not a stock MC? It would help if you mention what you have.

 

When asking questions, you should let us know what year and model your bike is. If it is a stock master cylinder, you can buy a rebuild kit online or from any HD dealer. It will take about 1.5 hours to install it your self.

 

they are after market and i dont no the brand

 

Dwint..Not sure if this will help you out or not..I purchased a master cylinder from another forum member last week and am unable to use it..it is all brand new.. chrome master cylinder for dual calipers and the clutch perch..
part # 42308-04 I paid $110.00 and that is what I need for it..list price is $329.99

 

If you can post pics of it, maybe someone can identify it.

 

i think i fixed it.the rubber boot was'nt i it's place all the way.thanks
