anyone else have a gas cap rattle?
mine rattles constantly, at one point , the cap was loose, and i thought my valves were rattling.
im hoping to find a fix for the canstant rattle.
any ideas?

 

Mine rattles and you have to turn it almost all the way around before it engages to take it off. Time for a new one for both of us!!! Tim

 

from the manual....."see fig. 9 To open, turn fuel filler cap counterclockwise and lift up. To close turn fuel filler cap clockwise until it clicks. The ratchet action of the cap prevents overtightening.

note: Fuel filler cap turns approximately a 3/4 turn before it starts unscrewing"

 

Sounds like a good excuse to upgrade to a new pop-up, flush mount gas cap for about $35 (with shipping) on e-bay.
