@Thumper 26, the SE SPs have baffles you can't remove, that's the info, I got form a German Sporty rider who have the SE SP slip ons on his 883 iron. Maybe he is wrong, but I don't think so.
Sounds right to me, if memory serves me correctly from something I read about them a while ago...

i have a set of screamin eagle slippers i bought with the bike new in 2010.
i assume they are the 'sp' type.
the baffles do have screws in them. they are 'tamper proof' screws though. after removing the screws i still couldn't get the baffles to budge. i assumed this was because the mufflers are oem black ceramic coated... or maybe not.
they do have screws holding in the baffles though so i assume they are removeable..... somehow.
so I take it if the ones I'm lookin at are off a 2003 dyna...they wont fit....?
I'm not a tinker, maybe you make it to fix SE II from a dyna on a sportster, I couldn't. Maybe there are problems with the performance due to the other dyna specs, maybe not. But why having all the hassle, just buy the right ones. The choice in the US is definitely bigger than in Europe. Thus just wait and buy the right ones. That's my two cents...
Id be curious to know how the SEii or cycle shack sound like. I have V&H short shots and while they do sound nice they're not very deep and sound kinda weird ar high rpm.
Would you suggest a change? I'd consider the bassani sweepers too.

I have to do a correction. A closer look on the BCT Monster Baffle Website shows, that there are baffles for the SE SP available. That's only makes sense if you can remove the baffle. Sorry for my error and my first wrong statement. Mea culpa, mea culpa
When buying off eBay, how do you know if it is the right SE II. I have a 2003 Sportster 883 Custom. Anyone know the part number I need? I'm pretty sure the ones I got are the right ones, part number 80429 9AF.
