Dumb question for everyone......

Recently bought some Memphis Shades lowers and put 'em on the bike. Haven't ridden it yet but will soon today. My windshield is detachable and there will be times when I take it off. The lowers aren't "easily" detachable, so I was wondering:

Has anyone ridden with just their lowers on, and if so, what was the effect as far as wind goes?

You might feel some buffeting but it depends on how tall you are and how they're angled.

Friend of mine has some soft lowers that tether to his crash bar and that's all he uses.

 

Cool. I was thinking it would be better than NOT having them on (when I ride without the windshield). Just wondering if it'll end up pushing more wind to a certain part of my body.
