Thanks fellas!!

BMX: The cornering ability now is unreal. No more mushy rear end and scraping my pipe and foot pegs. Funny how the rearend also helped out the feel of the front end forks. Got this thing leaning now! Can't wait to put on the rearsets, but gotta save my beans for those.

The scraping was the reason I had my exhaust made. I can't wait to see what the performance difference will be with the mono shock rear and inverted front forks on my bike. Your bike is super clean and looks very well thought out.

I like the cafe look standing still, but its just not comfortable for more than 50 miles or so...and thats pushing it. If I wanted that setup I would go back to a a Gixxer. Cant deny the look though, very nice.

I'm thinking about building a supermoto setup and drilling the new top triple to mount those when I want to for longer trips for a little more comfort.

so you never rode your gix for more than 50mi? i've done 400-500mi. in one day on a sportbike and was never uncomfortable. if it wasn't comfy for you your bike prolly wasn't setup properly or your body position is incorrect period, i.e. locking your elbows out, not up on the ***** of your feet or arching your back. i find a sportbike to be pretty comfy for long rides.

It's not as uncomfortable as it looks. Maybe I'm wrong. I have a sportbike background so maybe I'm just used to it, I don't know. One thing I do know is that it will be alot more comfortable with rearsets (which I'm working on).

I really like the look and flow of the seat. It looks like it was well worth the time and effort to get it just right! Nice looking bike you have!
