I like the sato rearsets and have been thinking about them for a long time but, after taking another look at my bike I'd have to have a new mounting bracket made for my exhaust the current one wouldn't even allow me to mount them. Maybe I'll just have some custom ones made to sit some where between mid and rearsets.....

Looks good. I am considering going to bar end mirrors since I put 2" inverted drag bars on mine. I cut a little off my fender, here is a link so you can see what it turned out like.

Grancuda,

Looks good man. That's how much I'm chopping off too, except I'm chopping it at more of an downward angle. I didn't want to chop off too much. Still wanted to look like I had a fender.

Did the 18" rear wheel make any difference in handling? I have been looking into buying an older 18" cast spoke wheel and adapting it to fit on my Iron.

to be honest with you, not really. Its just a wider tire, but I haven't noticed anything different about the way it rides. I have noticed that the Metzelers do grip and feel better than the stock dunlops.

Floating rotors is one that is allowed, by design, to have lateral movement- just in the way that the calipers are allowed to slide from side to side on a set of pins.
