Fall, Spring, and Winter in Colorado is Chaps (Fox Creek), HD leather jacket (20%off), Dr Martens 8 eyelet, Helmet, gloves and face mask. On the way to work in the summer its usually in the low to mid 50s so I ride with a long sleeve heavy duty Dicki shirt, boots, and lighter gloves. I usually just ride with a my short sleeve shirt I wore to work with gloves and helmet on the way home. A lot of the time what you rode to work in doesn't work for the ride home if you get temp changes like we get in Colorado.

Sorry, I had too. I get a chuckle out of people that say they dress for the crash and ATGATT. Sorry, but I don't go out thinking I'm going to crash. Oh, and yes, I've been down....rear slide out in some spilled rocks in a turn doing about 40 mph into a ditch. Flame away if needed.

I don't either. I go out knowing there is a chance I will crash even if I do everything right and am very aware and careful.

Good luck, and I hope that it is not bad when you do crash. Or that you are a part of the tiny number of lifetime riders who never have any kind of accident.

With a flat shield instead of the visor

Firstgear mesh with armor (leather jacket in the winter)

With the above, jeans and a shirt, type dependent on the temperature. Ventilated gloves (if I wear any) in warm weather, insulated ones in cold weather.

Didn't think I was going to crash, either, for the first 27 years I rode.

Cool Ridin' gear

I'm thinking of getting some of these for boots >>> http://www.drmartens.com/ProductDetail.asp?PID=10294201
I need some new work boots anyway, and they look like they'd offer good protection.

So what do you all wear? post some pics if you can, cause why ride if you can't look cool doing it?!
DRESS FOR THE SLIDE, NOT THE RIDE. LEATHER BOOTS, LEATHER TROUSERS AND GLOVES. FULL FACE HELMET. KEEP THE WHEELS ROLLIN' AND THE TEMPERATURE CAN BE CONTROLED WITH VENTED JACKET.

Jeans, boots, t-shirt, gloves, helmet with goggles. I wear a leather jacket only when it's really cold.

It's an old Tracy "Black Rain" fairing I picked up on eBay a couple years ago. Made some brackets and had it painted, it works great. Nice thing about it, I built the brackets to mount to existing bolt points on the bike, so I can take it off by removing 3 bolts and you can't tell it was ever there (no clamps, modified headlight, or rigged crap).
