Avoiding High Prices, Making my own parts.
First of all, I'm fixing to go with a solo seat, but when I saw the prices for the wire-cover/pan that goes underneath the solo seat, I almost barfed. So I decided to make my own, and after one night of messing with it, some beer, and a metabo, this is what I have.---Also, in the pic, the **** around the edge of the pan is just door guard, I will be replacing it, it was just there for fitting so I didn't scratch the paint on the frame. Maybe I will post directions on how I did this if anyone is interested.

Also, refuse to pay Harley for a "buckshot" Belt guard, so I laid out some holes, and 20 minutes later this is what I have.

Just realized when I previewed my post that the Belt-guard pic is small a hell for some reason. Will take better pics tomorrow, I would recommend both of these projects for anyone looking to save a little dough, and have fun doing it.

Yepper, nothing like makin' your own parts. It's called customizing your bike. I'm in the process of customizing a new front fender, (drilled the rivets out, cut the under bracing out & ~1/2" of the side bars out, welded it all back together, and grinding it all back down smooth), so it is actually hugging the front tire now.
