Default C&C solo seat problem

My front tab on the seat keeps popping out when I am riding... I tightened the back screw as much as I could and I also wrapped the tab in some electrical tape thinking it might prevent some of the slippage but no luck still slides backwards and pops out.

Does anyone else have this problem? Has anyone solved this problem? Maybe put a different screw on the back... something I can torque more than a phillips head.

Thanks in advance!

I don't have that problem with my C&C lopro, but BARELY. It just fits. that sounds pretty dangerous. Send it back.

I wouldn't put any more torque on that back fender.
I agree cameraboy, send it back.

Did you buy, or did they send you the correct seat for how many gallons your tank is? If you have a 3.3 and they sent you a 4.5 gallon tank seat that could be the issue.

bought it used from someone on the forums... it is supposed to be for a 3.3, it barely pops out if it was 1/8" longer it would be fine.

Can it be modified? Adding an 1/8"?

My Butt loves this seat, I think the problem is coming when it slides side to side changing the angle of tab and its just enough for it to pop out, I wrapped it in electrical tape even more hopefully this stops it from sliding side to side to much, next step will be to put a piece of foam around it and tape that on there that should defiantly work.
