Default trying to swap exhaust

Got the stock pipes off no problem .. went to remove the crossover pipe and found that I needed a T35 bit needed to remove the rear brake linkage to access the mounting bolt. My lit does not have a T35. it goes from T30 to T40 then has intervals up to T60.

Made a trip to the local hardware stores, no luck. Ran out of time before I had to go out w the wife, so I will be heading to Sears in the AM to see if they have one.

Tomorrow will be the first real warm day of the year (hitting the 80s .. first time we made it over the mid fifties). figured I'd get the new pipes on in time to cruise around and now if I cannot get the crossover off, I might miss out on it.

Sorry to hear about the delay, I have no idea why they skip numbers like that... frustrating! My Snap-Ons even skip numbers sometimes on bigger sockets.

Check out Advance Auto Parts. They have a set of Torx bits that include the T-35. I would not waste my time with a hardware store on things that relate to automotive. Good luck, and post some videos when it is all done!

I have a set from Advance Auto Parts (AmPro) and it has one is the reason I mentioned them. Sears should have one too, though.

It gets better, after driving all over creation and not finding a t35 I got the idea to disconnect the forward cotrol linkage and r was able to get the last bolt off then i routed the bracket off of the control.

We are ba k on track. I'm putting everything back together and see where the instructions say to use a T30 to put the linkage back on........A T30?????? THE DANG INSTRUCTIONS HAD A FRIGGIN TYPO!

My tool set had a t30. I waisted my day in search of a typo.

The exhaust is on. But before I could fire it up, the fam wanted to go for icecream.

I'll get to hear it in about an hour ... I'll post a vid and share.
