So I finally installed the under fender LED tail light (p/n 73420-11). I really like the look it gives the back of the bike.

The other mods i installed over the winter were the Joker Machine A/C and I put on the seat from the 48.

Hmm... interesting. How difficult was the install and any idea about the brake light being more visible now then before the install?

 

the install was pretty straight forward. pretty much plug and play. A buddy was riding behind me at dusk and said it stood out pretty good.

 

Gonna have to look into one of those. My tinted lenses and Kuryakyns Iridium dual fillament bulbs aren't exactly very bright during the day time/dusk.

 

Anyone know if this can fit on a '99 with chopped fender?

It's Harley. Check their site in the parts section for an '08 nightster under lighting and you should see it there to get the part number if you wanna check ebay maybe. I think I saw it on ebay for like $89 or something.

 

Have to admit, it does look pretty cool. I wasn't too optimistic at first...but it looks awesome! I love it when there are good surprises.
