Riding with the Busa's
#21
I didn't want to comment because I'm new here, but the DL650 I ride is one of the slowest Japanese bikes around - light years slower acceleration than a busa - and they do 0-60 in less than 4 seconds and a 1/4 mile in less than 13. The SV650 - widely considered a "beginner bike" and not even considered a sport bike by most as it's a twin - can do 0-60's in about 3.5s and the 1/4 in 12 or less at 105-110 trap speeds.
Most Dyabusas can do the 1/4 in well under 10 seconds at 140-150mph and 0-60 in well under 3 seconds. They don't handle very well compared to sport bikes but they will really march.

i really don't know where you're going with this but ok? welcome to the forums. i was obviously talking about a nightster keeping up with a busa, did you miss that part? sv's on the other hand are highly respected by guys at the track and those who ride them love them. like a cult following or somethin with those bikes.......
I think where he was going with that is that a high 12 second modded Sportster barely has a chance against even an SV, which is considered a beginners bike in the sportbike world, much less a 9 second Busa or ZX14. I've ridden a Busa and any Sportster that has kept up with one is because the Busa wasn't trying AT ALL! Sportsters don't pull the front wheel off the ground at 140mph, those bikes will (that 08 Busa i rode did it with me laying on the tank trying to keep it down).
Same thing for the twisties; If a Sportster rider is keeping up it's because the Busa or 14 either isn't trying or the rider has no clue what their doing. Those bikes are HEAVY and cumbersome by sportbikes standards but their still lighter than a Sporty and the chassis/suspension/brakes/tires are light years ahead.

haha....can't believe you never heard the term squid before. here ya go pitch. i've included a link to a test to ensure you don't get sucked in either...lol!
A Squid is a motorcycle rider who, experienced or not, rides outside his abilities and sets poor examples by attire, propriety, and general behavior on the motorcycle. This test assesses your overall qualities as a motorcycle rider. A grade will be returned after you submit the form. Try to answer as much as you can! You will be penalized by the percentage of questions left un-answered. Good luck and ride safe...

or you can go buy this....LOL!!!!!!!!!!
the reason why i said squid in the first place is because he said while him and his buddy are doing 180mph his buddy on the busa pulls away. come on.....really? all in good fun anyways!
