Default Had bad battery, swapped out, still won't turn over

So the battery that was in there was shot, or so I thought from what I could tell since it wouldn't even attempt to turn over at all. Swapped a new one in tonight and it cranks like there is nobodies busy BUT it will not turn over..........AT ALL.

It cranks, cranks and cranks but it won't do anything besides crank. Thoughts? I've checked, double checked and triple checked all the cables that I removed from the battery and surrounding wires on the rear fender in addition to other wires in the vicinity.

Thoughts?

If you're getting gas to the cylinders(wet plugs, gas smell from spark plug hole)Get an inline spark tester($10). Hook one end to the rear cylinder spark plug and the other end to the corisponding plug wire and crank it over, check to see if there's a flickering light.

what year is your bike? if you have a owners manual is will show you where your fuses are. My fuse blok is on the left side under the panel below the seat. pop it off and take a look.

Anyone know where the fuse box is because I've torn this bike apart looking for it (it's not under the triangle shaped panel) as I've seen posted on the internet (the only thing under there is a solid black box that is sealed, no fuses hide anywhere).

I still don't know why the bike won't start and I'm starting to lose my patience.

Check your relays. They should also be located on the fuse panel. If you have two try swapping their positions and see what happens. A blown relay is not always obvious. They are fairly cheap to replace if you don't see any fuses blown and want to give it a shot. I had a blown relay and it drained and killed my battery.

But hey, thanks for your guidance and wisdom in helping me find the fuse box (or lackthereof). If you don't have anything constructive to add, please move onto a thread where someone is willing to entertain your antics. From what I saw on a separate post I started earlier tonight asking "specifically where the fuse box is", the person stated there are no fuses on the bike but instead circuit breakers....

Have a good one!
