Had bad battery, swapped out, still won't turn over

Ya that's where I thought there were too but instead I found what was referred to as circuit breakers from a different thread. I'm not savvy on bike mechanics so I'm at a loss for what in the heck circuit breakers on a bike will or won't do if they aren't working properly. Appreciate the assist though........my journey continues.

I have a 1991 and the relay's are attached to the back side of the rear fender. Let me clearify...they are clipped to the front side of the rear fender under the oil tank. Real pita to get access to. I have to pull the seat and remove the fender struts to move the rear of the fender down so it is sitting on the tire. Now there is almost enough room to get at those little rectangular silver boxes stashed under the oil tank. Good luck.

You may have soiled the plugs while trying to start it with the old battery. Short of testing the spark, you can pull them and have a look. If they are all black then some new plugs might do it. Make sure you have that battery charged fully before trying to turn it over though and you might as well check the air cleaner as well. Just bang out the dirt that's in there and blow through with some compressed air unless the thing looks to be shot - then replace). This is the most basic stuff and usually will get you running assuming all else is good and the bike hasn't been sitting around a long time. If it has you may be getting into flushing or cleaning out the carbs. But try checking for spark and/or replacing plugs first.
