Stealer almost killed me UPDATE
Picked upbike a little while ago and all seems well the second time around. No leaks and new rear brakes and new rear tire. From now on the only time the dealer will see my bike is when I someday trade it in.

sounds like they tried to set you up (fix everything) - what assurances did they give you about internal damage due to oil loss?

They haven't seen mine since I got it from the last owner. I plan on keeping that way. I guess they made it right by you. That is all that matters.

It still had 1/2 a quart in it and the bulk of the oil leaked out while parked on the jiffy stand while it was in my garage. It seems fine I still have 1 1/2 years left on the warranty.

RE: Stealer almost killed me UPDATE
If you still had 1/2 quart left in the tranny/primary, and only rode it for a few miles, you should be good.
I've seen guys that have ridden for hundreds of miles without even knowing their primary and or tranny was only half full (or half empty)...
