Please help. I washed my bike today and now it won't start. The lights come on and fuel pump primes, but when I hit start I get nothing won't even turn over. I pulled the fuses thinking maybe they got wet. I'm gonna let them air dry overnight. When I pulled the fuses I noticed some corrosion could this be an issue? Any help would be helpfully. Thanks

Let it dry out and check all your connections .DO NOT USE A NOZZEL ON THE HOSE the pressure should not be more than that of a gentle rain

I failed to mention that after I put in the key and the fuel pump primes I notice the alarm lights still conyinue to go off. Could the alarm FOB battery have something to do with it not starting?

It may be moisture/corrosion in the fuse box. (very common issue)
Remove the fuses and square black relays and let it dry completly.
Clean fuse and relay tabs and the sockets in the fusebox with a non metalic abrasive (emery board), blow out and let that dry.
Apply di-electric grease and reinstall relays and fuses.
If that doesn't do it then try removing, cleaning, and reinstalling all battery wires at both the battery end and the starter/ground lug end.

Sounds like this is your issue. If your alarm isn't clearing you won't be able to start your bike. Check the battery in your FOB.

Sometimes if you just remove the FOB battery and re-insert it or just replace it and it will work again. Sounds like that is what it is.

Don't have an alarm on my bike, but the fob could be the issue. Just coincidental it acted up after washing. Take all advise above, especially the die-electric grease on all fuses and relays. Also check the negative cable where it is grounded at the top of the transmission. Quite a few problems with loose/corroded cable ends. It sits on top and water can accumulate at this point.
