Default jiffy stand & rk shocks

I have a 08 883c that I will be installing rk shocks, the 13" ones. Will my stock jiffy stand be o.k. thanks rich

Default your OK...

Jiffy stand will be fine - you're lifting rear fender up by installing taller shocks - won't be affecting ground clearance. Your ride will be much improved though!

Yes it will raise your bike...the top of the shock determines the height of the bike....the bottom of the shock is the fixed position...and yes you will be ok...the bike will go over a little further, but it will be fine.

It will raise the seat but not the ground clearance...

No, it raises the ground clearance. The entire frame is raised up when using longer shocks. Since the bottom of the engine cradle is part of the frame (and the lowest hard point on the bike), it will be higher. It will also affect steering performance (changes rake and trail), so be careful until you get used to it.

Actually it pushes the rear swing arm down and increases the ground clearance. The bike will lean over further when on the jiffy stand.
