Default Joker Machines Speedo Relocation

Hey guys I'm going to order the Joker Machines Speedo Relocation Mount. I am not mechanically inclined, but I can't stand the ugliness of the normal location of the speedo on my Iron. Are there any more wires or anything I need to buy? Is it pretty easy to assemble?

Thanks,
Chris

Stock speedo is retained...you just cut and splice from stock speedo dummy lights. Easy install. I just removed left riser bolt to be able to mount joker speedo mount to the absolute top of left fork. Don't forget blue locktight to all bolts you remove or install. Blue locktight is all you need and tools for the install. You do have to remove and drop the front tire to get the joker speedo clamp on the left fork. not to hard to do with a low profile jack and no need to remove the front break. It's a one man job but would probly be very easy with another. Would be very helpful to ya if you have a HD manual too

Its easy, like NDIron said you have to drop the tire.
Mine ended about in the middle of the triple clamps for the best visibility in a riding position.
Here it is when done.

just get the autometer clamp from summit racing. part # 3209 i believe??? check it. it is a lot cheaper we're talking under $15.00 and it tucks in the speedo a little more than the joker machine relocation kit.

Then all you need is a plain top-clamp (without the attatched speedo bracket) and attatch the existing indicator light bar to the top-clamp with emblem tape.

you don't even need a plain top clamp. i actually took my stock speedo holder and cut it so the dummy lights can stay where they are. didn't have to spend any money at all on that.

Hello,
In regards to the auto meter 3209 do I need anything else for the installation?
It hooks up to the fork correct?
