Default harley branding vs cost???

im noticing that the price is da price at harley. frm bikes to socks its the same. while about half thier acc's are very reasonable IMO-the other half are friggin outrageous!!! IE everyone at the house has seen a shirt they want there. but all the shirts start at 45.00 F@#$%$#@G dollars. is there a source for HD accsesories that has a better price?? im having palpitaions over the price on a pair of gauntlet gloves because its the only dam pair of gloves that ive found that i like. but 90 BUCKS????? any sources????

Yes, for starters I'd try Ebay - just be sure to check feedback so you know you're dealing with a reputable vendor.

I bought black tee shirts, black button shirts and even a plain black leather vest, then head to the dealership for Harley patches for a couple bucks and have the wife sew them on. The shirts with patches cost me under $15 bucks and the ones at the dealership are at least twice that price.

i was born with hd in my blood. i ride a harley for the feeling it gives me. the bike i bought, n e thing else ive gotten for gifts. i feel no need for anything else hd, its just a waste of $ in my opinion. im the "biker" guy. there to ride. not the "everything harley" guy. my t shirts come in 4-packs and the money i save can go in the tank or to something usefull.

Not sure if they sell online or not, but Sauk-Prairie H-D in Wisconsin has an accessories outlet store, the only one I've ever seen. I paid $55 for the $90 H-D Gore-Tex/Leather gauntlet gloves and $275 for the $490 fully armoured, Gore-Tex, insulated H-D winter coat with the zip-put lining.
If you know what you're looking for, it might be worthwhile to call by phone and see if you can speak to someone in their outlet store; I know the salesperson said they ship when I was there in person a few weeks ago.
