Default Tire pressure gauge recommendations?

Not really Sportster specific, but all the smart guys are in the Sporty forum.

I've been through many tire pressure gauges over the years. A buddy "borrowed" my really nice rubberized analog gauge several years ago and subsequently "lost" it. I can't remember who made it but it was beefy and very accurate. Since then, I've been using cheap-o pen style gauges. I get various measurements depending on which gauge I use. Not good.

Anyone recommend a good gauge that is consistently reliable? I don't mind spending money on something decent.

I got a craftsman digital one for xmas and it is pretty cool. It has a little led light and a relief trigger to let air out. It was around 15-20 bucks but I think it is pretty cool but then again I am a tech geek.

Slime digital at Walmarts. Under $8, fits on a key chain, was rated "excellent" by Motorcycle Consumer News. Small enough to fit easily between the wheel's spokes.

True on this one. Picked one up about a month ago. Seems to be accurate.

Yeah I'm a little **** about tires,,

I got the Slime with memory and a 9" hose,,,14 bucks

I checked It against a freinds Craftsman,,,Both were exactly the same readings
I then checked my three older pencil guages,,,
got three different readings
one was 3 Lbs over
the other two were under
by 2 and 6 respectivly,,,
They went right In the trash.

33.5 front tire pressure
38 rear,,

Why 33.5 ?
cause 33 Is too soft
and 34 is too hard LOL
