Im sure this is a repetitive thread and I apologize, been trying to flip my mirrors for a while now in my iron, I have done it exactly how I have seen it done on the forums, swapped stems. The issue is I can get my left mirror to clear the tank but I cant adjust the mirror enough to see behind me (it hits the adjustment stop) any ideas of what I might be doing wrong?

loosen up the nut at the end of the stem, which will now be on top of handlebars and rotate stem out some. This should allow you to then move just the mirror inwards so that you can see behind you.

My left mirror only clears my tank by about 1/4 an inch.
