I am going to go with that Lucid Kustoms bracket too, I didn't know that bracket was avaliable.

Here's what I turned the home depot t-plate into for under $3.00. Looks like Lucid Kustoms did the same thing and painted it black lol. $65 dollars for that seams a little much.

Looks beautiful! I love how low it makes the bike look. You got all at Redtail you said?

I would make those Lucid brackets all day long for WAY less. Anyone can PM me a request for a fabbed part/bracket. Those prices are rediculous!!!

nice job! doing something similar with a generic hinge i found on flebay. should look very similar after i cut it up, heat it and rebend it and i only paid 8$ for it.

A few months ago when I was asking around here for a solo bracket, none of you bastards said a freakin' word! I'm sure I spend several hundred smackeroonies on that bracket/mount. I would have totally done the cheapo route, searched all over for something, came up empty. Actually, I'm just messing, but nobody here came up with any of these great, cheap solutions then. Dammit!

I have seen those "T" brackets, they are too flimsy for a bike seat mount. I want something more substantial and $65 is way cheaper than the $300 Licks gets for their seats with the mount. You can get a nice seat for about $100 + $65 for the mount is like 1/2 price of the licks piece.
