thoughts and prayers bro......people over the age of 65 should have to retake their drivers lic. test, bottom line. also, anyone that goes to get their lic for the 1st time should have to take the written part of the motorcycle class. if nothing else, it may make someone "new" to the road a bit more aware of what's going on around them. chin up dude.....you'll be back in no time!

BUMMER... thoughts and prayers go out to you

I believe that at some time people should be re-tested for a Driving License
Just makes sense ... SOME older people have the sight and reaction time as an 18yo on a bottle of pills or something.

So sorry to hear about your accident. Bikes can be fixed/replaced, etc, but your well being is the main thing. Get well soon!

Sorry to hear your story; I pray you are healthy soon. I also recommend you get a good lawyer and don't be quick to settle with any insurance company. I know from experience.

Remember, this too, shall pass!! As tmathers said, don't get in any hurry to settle. No matter how positive a insurance rep appears, his companies profitability is always a concern.

It saddens me to hear your story. At the same time it upsets me senior citizens after the age of 70 are not retested for their drivers license. Like others for some reason I hear these stories and really get me thinking. My gf works at a hospital and tells me these stories. I know she is looking out for me but is scary sometimes. I just hope that I keep safe. She has been pushing me to sell the bike and get a vette. Haha

Anyway man, I wish you a speedy recovery and definitely get a good attorney.
