Looks great. Definitely unique bike. I posted pics last month of my Nightster with the same 4.5. I like the look of the bigger tank too. Haven't gotten it painted yet. Thanks for showing the progress.

Harley website shows an installation kit is needed to do this swap. Is this true? Was it a direct bolt on?

The logos were stick on, the tank bolted on, no installation kit for either.

Sorry, but just my opinion. Take off that peanut tank, and its no longer a 48.

What I say is, take off that peanut tank and no longer stop for gas every 48 miles...... I love the new tank, and it is still my '' 48''.

I also want a bigger tank. Was riding today and my trip meter was at 70 miles and she started sputtering and I had to switch to my reserve. 70 miles of around town riding, so I was only getting about 35 mpg. Sucks! Another gallon (my tank is 3.3 gallons) would be great!

i am not able to click on the pic...

and i cannot see any link to the moderator to let him know.
