the rear just pulls off like others have stated. i removed the rear wheel to get the side plastic and side reflectors tho. yes a bit more of a pain but easy and fun chopping that plastic crap out of there! if nothing else it was good to see how the rear wheel and fender come off and a chance to use my new tourqe wrenches. it was impossible to get the fender off completely without taking the rear wheel off.

The ones on the side aren't that difficult to do but it was more involved than I expected. Basically just put the bike on a jack, removed the 2 upper shock bolts, and jack the bike up to give you plenty of room. Do the following one side at a time. Remove the signal lights and 2 other bolts holding the fender/reflector to the struts. Remove the signal light wiring from the reflector, drill out the rivets that hold the reflector to the fender. Then just reassemble. Make sure to ziptie your signal light wiring to the struts. Repeat process of the other side. Lower the bike back down, line up and rebolt your shocks and you're done.
Note that reflector on the left side is connected to the swinging license plate bracket. So you'll either have to modify that piece or relocate your plate.
