NOS on 883's ?
Just looking at some of these kits. Anyone on here done this? How does it run? It seems to be about the same cost of swapping to 1200 cc with most of the better kits. Any harm done to the engine? mines a '03 883R has drag pipes, re jet, and big sucker air cleaner. Most of the kits say 30 to 40 percent increase in torque and HP
Not looking for a rocket, just somthing to use when I do want to get on it hard.
will be thank ful for any comments

Going with a 1250 kit will definately be easier and more street friendly than a N.O.S. kit. Hell, I didn't even run the spray on my car I took to the track because it was a daily driver also. Well, that and it was already running mid 12s in street trim...didn't want a full track car. LOL
The other benefit to going with the 1250 kits over a N.O.S. system is you don't have to refill the 1250 kit and it never runs out in mid run so it's always there.

looked at NOS as well the boss system is probably be your best bet since it has a piggyback system that will allow your engine to get the gas it needs when the button is pushed plus it uses your horn button as the button to let er rip only when it's turned on of course. Don't let people discourage you on the fact that it will make you engine not last as long, most kits guarantee your engine as long as you use a 25 shot which is plenty for a bike. The only bad thing is riding with those bottles attached which is illegal on the streets at least in NJ
