Hello all, new to the site so please be patient. Just bought a 2010 Iron 883 and am loving it. I've purchased a passenger pillion along with mounting brackets for passenger pegs off ebay. I also am bidding on some passenger pegs from another seller. I am pretty sure the pegs come with nothing, what will I need to attach the pegs to the mounting brackets? On the HD website it looks like some kind of cotter pin or something, idk, any help would be much appreciated.

 

the pegs mount just like the front one's. when i did mine i found a set of front pegs just like the ones that came on mine and put the on the passinger.

 

I'm pretty sure you will need a clevis pin, spring washer, and a retaining ring.
Not sure but I guess you could buys these with having to get new pegs. I would call up a dealer or look on a site that sells pegs.

Spring washer 50912-72

Found the instructions.

Torque the screws 4748 toto 45-50 ft-lbs (61-68 Nm)

when i bought my setup the passenger pegs came with everything needed .. pegs mounting hardware the whole nine. post up a link to the set your looking at
