Default Wish the riding season would get here already

Here in Northeast PA I'm waiting for the riding season to get here. I've had one day I was able to get out so far where it was 70 degrees. I would have went out today, but I had to move a friend of mine. I just wish the 70+ degree days and 50+ degree nights would get here so I could ride to work and back.

I know some of you are waiting so post if you're excited.

I'm sitting here in Buffalo, under a blanket of snow feeling your pain. It would figure I finally buy a bike, and the weather blows. Rainiest fall ever, and then I haven't seen snow cover like this in over ten years. I still managed to sneak out a couple days when the roads got dry, but 35 degrees is chilly.

35 is way too cold for me, it's gotta be 50 for me to ride comfortably.

I know what you mean. I haven't been on my sporty since thanksgiving weekend. It has been a rough winter in Iowa. This snow and cold is never-ending this year. Very impatiently waiting for the first ride of the year.

There's nothing comfortable about even "heat wave" 35 degree rides in Buffalo. But when it's been 20 or less and you work outside all day, 35 and dry roads is too hard to turn down at least a few miles.

Let's all go and tar and feather Al Gore for lying to us about warming. We have had the coldest and snowiest winter here since records were kept from the late 1800's.

I completed the mods long ago. I have polished the bikes twice so far. All I can do is look at them and then out the window at the snow and ice on the road.

I hate to pop in here and salt your wounds, but .... 75 today probably 80 monday. So many bikes on the road. Even if you left solo you ended up in a pack of hogs before you knew it. Good ol NC bikers paradise.
