Default Changing Hugger Buckhorns to Standard Bars

I'm in the process of negotiating the purchase of a '98 XL883 Hugger. One of the first things I plan on doing is swapping-out the OEM buckhorn bars for the XL883 Standard (low-rise) bars. My question is will I have to replace the brake/clutch/throttle cables with shorter ones? If so, can anyone recommend any good companies (online) selling quality parts for a good price?

If the bars you intend to swap out are will be taller than the oem bars then normally you will have to swap out everything. But if they are shorter (lower in height) its just as simple as just sliding the grips and what not onto the new bars.

If you find there is an extra few inches, the cables can usually be rerouted somehow to compensate for the extra length.
