C&C Solo or Mustang Vintage Solo (Iron 883)
Good Day,
I am about to purchase a new seat this week for my 2010 Iron. I've searched and read various threads on seats here. I am considering the C&C solo (high back model) or the Mustang Vintage Solo. Would anyone here have any knowledge if they are comparable in comfort. Most of my riding would be short trips and commuting (20 - 40 miles each way). I also keep my bike covered all the time. So any advice as to whether I should go leather or vinyl would also be appreciated.
Thanks.

I have the Mustang 12.5" vintage solo seat on my 883 Low. I really like the seat and feel that it is a huge improvement over the stock seat. It does move riding position up and back a little bit. I like the marine grade vinyl better than leather because I think it holds up to the elements better with less care needed.

I have the vintage Mustang with back rest, a little expensive, but very, very nice. And the back rest come right out and has a velcro cover for when not using the back rest. I generally pull it out when I have passenger.
Here is pic with the passenger pillon off and the luggage rack and back rest on.
