In looking at the E3 xref chart, I don't see a suitable cross-reference listed for any of the below plugs, all of which are xrefs for the Harley plug.
Champion RA8HC
NGK DCPR7E
Autolite 4164
Bosch YR6LDE
Denso Iridium IXU22

Here is a link to E3 that says the E3.36 works in a 07 883 sportster. Go to page 24

I have noticed that the smaller the engine the more you notice how good they are. I only use Husqvarna chainsaws and they start alot easier with E3s in them. My dad uses them in a '59 Bel air and he tells me the car runs smoother and starts alot easier.

I have the e 3's on my 08' Nightster. I havn't had a problem with them. They've been on for a year now and I like them. It's probably all in my head but the bike seems to run smoother and is more responsive. I was sceptical at first but after running them on my 07' Streetbob, I put a set in my nightster. They are the same part # for the 07' SB as the 08' Nightster. I thought, for a little more, I'll try them. Whats a couple of more dollars for a small performance inhancement. We all spend far more money on other things that really doesn't net us any performance enhancment. Now I run the E3's on all my other stuff..... mower, leaf blower, echo trimmers... all my stuff. I've run NGK's, SE, ect and if a couple of dollars makes me feel like its worth it, then its worth it. All in all, I don't think certain brand of plugs are going to make a huge difference but various plugs work for various things... like I ran a little hotter plug back in the day on my 89 FXR Lowrider because my bike always ran alittle rich and a hotter plugs help some with that ect. Try them, you don't have anything to loose. Thats my 2 cents

Why? cause most people can change them , most can afford the "very best "...(smile)
they are the most overchanged object in america..
what ever is wrong " change the plugs"
carb lean? =change the plugs ....carb rich? change the plugs
choke /enrichment circuit not set right ?=change the plugs
lol, as soon as I get my current "splitfires" paid for I am going to see what the latest "magic plug is out there...
