So I picked up new tires yesterday at Dennis Kirk. I went with the Metzler ME 880's I saved $30 over the avons so I thought what the heck. Anyways to my question, I am going to change them myself and am wondering are there any tricks to it. I am very mechanically inclined so I am not worried about that part but I want to know about balancing and what not. I am trying to say the $60 to $80 by not taking them into the shop.

Actually, I just take my wheels off and take the new tires & wheels to my local Honda shop. They switched them out for $30 total last time.
