take a knife and slice them from end to end and start pealing them off. I used Aquanet hair spray on my new ones. 2 small squirts and slid them on. Stuck instantly. I have old school metal flake plastic/hard rubber grips.

if your not gonna use the stock ones ever again, easiest way is just to cut them with a razor, with my aftermarket rubber grips they fit snug so i didnt use any glue.

Stick a long thin screwdriver down the grip and work it around the bar, if you want to save the grip.

Yea if you aren't going to use them again take a razor blade cut em down the middle and pull them off ... didn't use glue on new grips as they fit fine and stick without it !

I tried the screwdriver, tried sticking a thin piece of metal in there, and tried an air hose. Couldn't get it off. Had to cut it. And it was still hard to pull off. I don't think it was coming off in one piece.

thin piece of wire, very small long screwdriver use wd-40 with the wire , then work it around the grip..slides right off..
I pour gasoline into the new grip , then slide it on ..wait a couple of hours .
it is done , and you have re-usable old ones if needed.

Use the skinniest but longest screwdriver you can find and start sliding it down inside the grip and spray some WD40 in there at the same time while you work the screwdriver around... the WD40 will also help you slide the grip back on to your new handle bars if you are going to reuse them... I didn't need anything to make them stick the my new bars after the WD40 evaporated it stuck all by itself fine.

Once you lift the end with the screwdriver spray in some Q20.(spray lube) into the gap, run the screwdiver shaft around the bar and the grip will slide off easily.
To stick the grip get some double sided selotape(the kind used to arttach pics on project boards)..stick on the bar ...slide grip on and apply presure and its on.H

Take your aircompressor,,stick the Air blaster under the grip edge.
Blast away,,the grip should come right off,,,worked for me once but was a dirt bike.
