Default going on a 48 test drive in the am

I have owned two road kings and loved them both. But like many others the economy stole them from me. After two years recovering from a loss of business and home I am back and ready to own another. I cant afford a big bike again and I really like the look of the forty eight. Hopefully my 6'2" 240lb frame will enjoy it. We will see.....

wish me luck im excited!

Wow, 6'2" 240 on an HD 48? Should be an interesting ride. The 48 may be too small for ya, just sayin. You don't wanna end up looking like a gorilla in a go cart.

I feel for you...I also lost a Road King (and a Porsche) to the economy. I am much happier now that I have a slower paced job and I love my 48.

How weird is this? I also "lost" a Road King this past year, but it was due to a divorce. Now I have a 48 and absolutely love the bike. Nowhere near as comfortable for long rides (duh), but fun as HELL for everything else.

I'm only 5' 9" and 200lbs, though.

Dude, that might be a tough sell to a bank... You may want to try lendingclub.com (not associated with lending tree). Interest rate may be higher than you'd like, but they should at least offer you the loan.

Try your local credit union. I had no credit, and they financed me. Interest rate is 3.99%. Awesome deal.

At 6'1" I still feel a bit cramped with the forwards on my 1200C.

Maybe try out a new Dyna while you're there. Not a whole lot more for the Street Bob.
