I hear this kinda thing often,,,BUT the "gorilla in a go cart" Roflmao,,
good one lol.

I've seen some pretty Big Dudes on all flavors of Sportsters,
Ive seen some pretty Big people on smaller bikes to..

The thing I noticed most was,,They all had this silly Grin on thier faces.

To all "Big Dudes" considering a Sportster,,
Buy It and STOMP THE CHIT outta any one that gives ya any Crap

A rider said to me once, "Man your a pretty big guy to be riding a Sporster",,,
"Why don't you get a real Harley?"

There's a hunnerd answers to that one,,Pick one.

I often use, "Oh I will one day when I'm too old and slow to handle a Sporty"

Hey dude,

Like prior posters said, try going to a credit union first. I know in my credit union they finance used motorcycles but the seller has to bring the title to the office and then they write out the check.

If i was doing this all over, I would have bough a used bike, I just recently saw a Street Bob here in this forum selling for $9k. I think it was a late model. I paid below MSRP but it was at least $12k OTD.

Good luck man and welcome back!
