Default Kman Harley's restoration/build

Hi Guys n Gals,

Thought I'd post some pics of what I've been working on since December. I have a thread on XLForum but figured I'd put one up here too. A few before to show exactly how I got the bike. It's a '99 Custom and majority, if not all, of the chrome was corroded plus I'm not a big fan of allot of chrome. This is my first bike mod/build and I did majority of the work and paint myself with the occasional help from a friend. Anyway on to the pics...

Before

And where I'm at now

I fitted a 150 tire, changed up some stuff, chopped the rear fender, painted fender and tank satin black (automotive paint), other bits n areas painted. Had a bunch of rust spots/areas to clean up and touch up paint. Bunch of rewiring. I'm relocating the gauges also and waiting on a springer seat to arrive along with black wrap for the exhaust which I'm just going to run without the mufflers for now until I buy a proper replacement. Also plan to change the big stock signals out for some smaller ones but it'll have to be later. Just itching to get it on the road and since the signals I got brand new with the bike I figure I'd just use them for a bit till I get a break to buy some nice ones.

Anyways, lemme know what you think.

Mark

Thanks! I should add that my objective was to do it on a tight budget so almost everything I got for it was from ebay but not everything. I paid $1000 for the bike as it was in December, so I think I'll have a nice bike how I want it to look for ~$3000 or so total. Would've been a hell of allot cheaper if I was in the US cause I have to pay duties and shipping on everything I bring in.

Bike is looking awesome man. You have to do any Mods to get the 150 on? Will you be changing your shocks to air or strut or keeping the springs?
